On April 20, 2022, GWG Holdings, Inc. and certain of its subsidiaries filed voluntary Chapter 11 petitions in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division.  The cases are pending before the Honorable Marvin Isgur and are being jointly administered under Case No. 22-90032.

On May 9, 2022,  a Bondholders Committee was appointed by the Office of the United States Trustee. On June 17, 2022, the Bondholders Commitee was reconstituted.  The current members of the Bondholders Committee are:  Bank of Utah, Thomas Horton, Donald W. Rhodes, Matthew Pearce, Ali Danesh, and Frank S. Moore.
