On May 13, 2020, Intelsat S.A. and certain of its subsidiaries filed voluntary Chapter 11 petitions in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Richmond Division. The cases are pending before the Honorable Keith L. Phillips and are being jointly administered under Case No. 20-32299.

On May 27, 2020, a Committee of Unsecured Creditors was appointed by the Office of the United States Trustee.
